DIECAST have triumphantly returned with a stunning new effort, “Internal Revolution”, which perfectly showcases their constant evolution while fully developing their own unique sound that is destined to stand out as one of hard rock’s most promising acts. With a new line-up intact, the group was able to expand upon their influences with no preconceived boundaries and the results were unlike anything they ever expected.
The additions of an entirely new rhythm section composed of Dennis Pavia (drums) and Brad Horion (bass) allowed Paul Stoddard (vocals) the freedom to finally unleash his natural singing voice, ultimately resulting in stellar, captivating melodies with a harder edge. Guitarists Jon Kita and Kirk Kolatis deliver their most impressive performances yet and prove that they are one of the premiere guitar tandems around today.
After a brief hiatus, the group stormed back onto the scene in 2004 with the ferocious album, “Tearing Down Your Blue Skies“, which marked their first effort with Stoddard handling vocal duties. The disc was hailed by critics as the band’s most accomplished work yet, as such anthems as “Medieval” and “These Days” were greatly embraced by Headbangers Ball and Uranium. They toured the world relentlessly with the likes of Ill Nino, Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Napalm Death and 3 Inches of Blood, showing that they could win over any audience with their intense live performances.
DIECAST spent the better part of this past year fine-tuning their new material and teamed up with long-time producer Paul Trust to track the long awaited effort. The disc promises to be their biggest sounding and most dynamic offering yet. Stoddard further elaborates: “DIECAST are now stronger than ever. I feel “Internal Revolution” is going to be one of the most diverse records to hit our scene to date. Guaranteed to be something for everyone.”
DIECAST, finally able to show the world what they are truly capable of with “Internal Revolution”, have now carved out their own refreshing, unique niche within the scene.
