Extreme metal at its very best, plain and simple, is what the Atlanta based quintet DÅÅTH delivers. Currently the group is more determined, energized, and focused than ever before and is continuing to expand upon their unique, uncompromising and dynamic sound. DÅÅTH’s much anticipated self-titled third full-length album was co-produced by the renowned Mark Lewis (Trivium, Devildriver) and Eyal Levi (guitars).

Levi further states: “This is the most unrestrained and over the top collection of songs we’ve ever captured. We went in with the intent of creating a freak show of a record and we achieved it. People looking for a wrecking ball of an album will be happy. People looking for an album they’ll still hear new things in one year down the road will be happy. People going in with any preconceived notions of who we are and what we sound like are in for a surprise.”

The band was formed by Levi and features amongst its ranks some of the best all around musicians in today’s heavy music scene. Together he and fellow guitar virtuoso Emil Werstler create some of the best call and response riffs heard since the Mustaine and Friedman days. Their Levi/Werstler “Avalanche of Worms” album released on progressive metal label, Magna Carta, further showcased the young duo’s talents. Drummer Kevin Talley (ex-Chimaira, Dying Fetus, Misery Index,) is renowned for his technical proficiency, speed and strong attack while bassist, Jeremy Creamer fills out the rhythm section laying down the rock solid foundation that allows his counterparts the freedom to show off their proficiency. The icing on the cake, so to speak, is singer Sean Z, whose abrasive and encompassing vocals bind the songs together perfectly.

DÅÅTH shot to the forefront of the metal world with the 2007 release of “The Hinderers”. The band built a worldwide following by touring with the likes of Job For A Cowboy, Devildriver, Unearth, Despised Icon and others while also taking part in the 2007 edition of Ozzfest. The next year saw the band focusing on truly separating themselves from the rest by creating their sophomore album, “The Concealers”, which was a much more focused and straight ahead metal album. More touring followed, seeing the band share the stage with Dragonforce, Cynic, Chimaira and Unearth and only recently they performed at the renowned With Full Force festival 2010. With the music mastered, the band then started working to create one of the best live shows in the metal scene, focusing in on the visual aspect of the show in order to give their fans the best possible live experience they could.

DÅÅTH has essentially carved out their own unique niche within the metal scene and their aggressive and uncompromising style is bound to catch the world’s attention. Make no mistake, the forerunners of the new wave of extreme metal have arrived.
