CAULDRON was born from the ashes of genre-defining, critically lauded GOAT HORN. The band, which was influenced by greats such as VENOM, JUDAS PRIEST and CATHEDRAL, called it a day in 2006 and front man, Jason Decay, wasted no time in putting together CAULDRON. CAULDRON went on to release the now out of print EP entitled Into The Cauldron which was pressed on limited edition CD and vinyl before inking a deal with Earache Records. Once signed to Earache, CAULDRON went onto release their 2008 full length debut, Chained To The Nite. The album was met with high praise from fans and critics alike. In support of the album, CAULDRON embarked on an extensive touring schedule that would take in a UK tour with WOLF, two North American runs with ENFORCER and MUNICIPAL WASTE respectively, finishing off with a month-long string of European dates including open air festivals, support slots with the likes of NEVERMORE and DEATH ANGEL, and a triumphant set at Sweden’s Muskelrock festival. CAULDRON's 2011 sophomore release, Burning Fortune, upped the ante by showing the strength in CAULDRON's songwriting abilities. Recorded by Jameson Elliott, who had previously worked with GOAT HORN, Burning Fortune received a rapturous welcome from fans, whom enthusiastically turned out to see the band on their North American tour with HOLY GRAIL as well as on their successful headlining tours across Canada and Europe. The stand out track, “All or Nothing" was featured on the ROCK BAND video game, and the accompanying video notched up thousands of YouTube views. “Burning Fortune” then went on to gain the band a prestigious nomination for ‘Best Metal Record’ at the JUNO awards, Canada’s answer to the Grammy’s. After completing a final run of dates in support of Burning Fortune, CAULDRON returned to the studio, once again with Jameson Elliott at the helm, to etch in stone their third Earache release, Tomorrow’s Lost. This brand new album was another slice of pure metal mastery and went on to deliver more riffs, more attitude and more heavy metal classics. Originally released in Europe during October 2012, Tomorrow’s Lost received praise from both fans and critics alike. A video clip for the track “Nitebreaker” was uploaded to YouTube/VEVO and once again, thousands of views were chalked up proving that the fans were hungry for more! CAULDRON answered that call by going out on the ‘Europe’s Lost’ tour, a 6 week trek starting in November of 2012. Now, Tomorrow’s Lost is ready to be unleashed on North America through the newly formed alliance between Earache Records and Century Media. The band had this to say about their upcoming physical release in the US: "Very excited that our latest slab is finally getting released at home. We're really proud of this record and can't be satisfied by pulling music out of thin air like the internet generation does so well, so this means a lot. Glad to see the new Earache/Century Media affiliation is going to give it its due in North America, and just in time for the America's Lost tour this spring!" –Jason "We're pleased to announce that our new album is finally landing on North American shores this April. Now all you bangers, earth dogs and rivet heads can get your metal fix. See you on the filthy road!" –Ian Tomorrow’s Lost will hit streets in the US on Tuesday, April 30th 2013. So mark your calendars and prepare for real heavy metal destruction! CAULDRON; No gimmicks, no tricks - just true, unadulterated heavy metal.
