Independent heavy metal record label seeks hardworking, dependable people for an internship in our Los Angeles office. Learn different aspects of the record business in a general internship or focus on a specific area (Promotion, Radio, Sales, Graphics, Video, Publishing, A&R, etc).
Guidelines:
*Must live in the Los Angeles, CA area
*Must receive school credit*
*Must be at least 18 yrs old*
*Must work a minimum of 150 hours

Requirements:
*3+ years of experience in the MUSIC INDUSTRY *Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport *Must have excellent written and oral communication skills *Must be highly self motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive independently in a flexible, fast paced team environment
Responsibilities:
1. Key liaison between record company, band, management and other associated parties for assigned projects.
2. Per project, prepare a plan, budget, and follow up with each department on the following:
. recording budget
. artwork
. photo shoot
. video budget
. tour support
3. Work with the artist on delivery of materials (master, art, photos, videos, etc.).
4. Network with various booking agents, other managers and record companies to seek tour opportunities.
5. Keep up to date on current Industry and musical trends.
6. Compile and submit bi-weekly meeting minutes.
7. Solicit outside companies for endorsement opportunities.
8. Assist with conceptual development and execution of special events and projects.
9. Identify any unauthorized work and assist in any clearing and/or agreements.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
