The Haunted: recording new album; studio blog online!
After touring Europe with Slayer this year and releasing their fabulous DVD/live album “Road Kill” on Century Media, Sweden’s thrashers THE HAUNTED now have commenced recordings for the band’s highly anticipated follow-up to 2009’s “Versus” set for release in Spring 2011.
Guitarist Ander Björler comments:
"So, it's finally time for recording the new album (yet untitled). It will be our 7th studio album to date. We have been sending ideas back and forth already since early October last year, and have been working hard arranging and compressing all the million ideas down to around 15 songs. Once again we will work with Tue Madsen in his Antfarm Studio in Denmark, which recently went under a slight relocation & renovation, and we are all very excited to get this album recorded... We have set up a studio report page which will be updated from Monday October, 18th on, so please check in and follow the progress.
