<title>Eyes of Fire: : EYES OF FIRE Check In From The "One Nation Undivided" Tour; New Video To Make Its Headbangers Ball Debut</title>
<description>The dynamic Orange County-based quintet EYES OF FIRE are currently annihilating crowds on the "One Nation Undivided" tour with Ill Nino, God Forbid, Silent Civilian and Bleed The Sky. The Jagermeister-sponsored, 28-city major market assault, which kicked off on May 10th and runs through early June, is the group's first major national run in support of their critically acclaimed new album, *Prisons*, which was recorded at Grandmaster Recorders (Tool, NIN) with renowned producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis). A video for the track "It All Dies Today" was shot by acclaimed director Gary Smithson (Exodus, High On Fire); look for it to make its Headbangers Ball debut on MTV2 this Saturday, May 20th at 10PM EST/7PM PST. You can also view the clip in the media section.

Dan Kaufman (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: "Hey everyone we're currently sitting backstage in Houston getting ready to fucking destroy the stage once again on the 'One Nation Undivided' tour. The shows so far have kicked some major fucking ass and to make things that much better our video for 'It All Dies Today' will make its Headbangers Ball debut this Saturday night. This is something that we are all extremely excited about. Be sure to check it out and tell all your friends about it. Also, everyone better get out to these shows early. The shows have early door times and we are switching off set times with our brothers Bleed The Sky, so get there early and support some great metal. This tour has been fun so far and we\\'re just getting started. We\\'re one giant family out there and all the bands are having a blast with each other. Until next time keep on listening and we hope to see you all soon."

Collectively, EYES OF FIRE have grown greatly as musicians and songwriters over the past year after adding new members Bobby Thomas (guitars), Nicky Bernardi (drums) and Pete Traux (keyboards) to the fold. The group toured relentlessly on major packages with the likes of Apocalyptica, Danzig, Trivium and Kataklysm, as well as high-profile shows with Lacuna Coil, Opeth, SYL and Moonspell, further helping them garner a loyal, rabid underground following.

*Prisons* further develops the sound introduced on EYES OF FIRE's debut offering, *Ashes To Embers*, which lashed out with a barrage of intensity, leaving the listener victim to a sonic pummeling, while still walking a fine line between melody and brutality. The album stunned critics and fans alike. The group succeeds in areas where most bands today don't even bother venturing: songwriting, hooks and emotion, drawing similarities to such cult icons as Anathema, Katatonia and Neurosis.

Dan Kaufman (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: \\"Well, it looks like we got ourselves on another tour for the spring and this one is going to fucking rock. We\\'re on the \\'One Nation Undivided\\' tour with Ill Nino and God Forbid for about a month and this is going to be one hell of a blast. Also coming along for the ride are some SoCal locals Silent Civilian and our brothers from some other mothers Bleed The Sky, so it is definitely safe to assume that we\\'ll be looking for some bail money out there on the road.

\\"We\\'ll be adding some new songs to the setlist as well as playing a couple of different sets, so come to a couple of the shows and you\\'ll get a treat. There is no better way to kick of the fucking summer of 200666. Y\\'all best get your asses to the venues early because it looks like us and Bleed The Sky will be swapping opening spots, so who knows what time we might on. Feel free to just buy us booze and keep us company at the merch booth because we\\'ll all be hanging out talking to whomever. We can\\'t wait to see you all on tour. A big thanks to everyone who has bought the new CD and come to the shows we\\'ve done so far this year. This is becoming the year of EYES OF FIRE, and we have you all to thank.\\"

<title>Eyes of Fire: : EYES OF FIRE Embark On Headlining U.S. Tour</title>
<description>The dynamic Orange County-based quintet EYES OF FIRE will embark on a lengthy headlining U.S. tour with Losa early next month in support of their highly anticipated sophomore release, *Prisons*, which is set for a February 7th release. The trek, which runs from Feb. 3rd through March 4th, will be the group\\'s first headlining cross-country U.S. venture; expect nothing but a very extensive and pummeling set. In Jan. 2005, EYES OF FIRE entered Grandmaster Recorders (Tool, NIN) to begin tracking *Prisons* with renowned producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis), and the results were unlike anything they ever expected. A video for the track \\"It All Dies Today\\" was shot by acclaimed director Gary Smithson (Exodus, High On Fire); look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut this spring.

Dan Kaufman (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: \\"Happy fucking New Year. It looks like two thousand and six six six is gonna be the year of EYES OF FIRE. Our second album, *Prisons*, is hitting the streets on Feb. 7th and to coincide with the release, we are hitting the road with Texas noise madmen Losa, starting Feb 3rd in Phoenix, AZ. We are more than excited to be heading out on this tour with some good friends and sharing the stage with other great bands such as Withered and Orthrelm. Everyone please try to do your damnedest to get your butts out of your houses this winter and rip it up with us for an evening or two. Who knows how long the small tours will last with how much crap we have planned for this year. We are already in the early stages of planning two other full U.S. tours and maybe even a third, and it\\'s only January.

\\"The new album is already getting amazing reviews, and we are only in the beginning stages of hitting the press with this release. Also, today I saw for the first time the finished version of the video for \\"It All Dies Today,\\" and I must say that it\\'s fucking amazing. Gary Smithson hit a fucking home run with this video. I\\'m more than impressed with the outcome, and this one will see the light of day unlike other attempts we\\'ve tried in the past. This is just the beginning of the most important year of EYES OF FIRE\\'s life. Hope to see you all out on the road and enjoy yourselves in our merriment.\\"

Collectively EYES OF FIRE have grown greatly as musicians and songwriters over the past year after adding new members Bobby Thomas (guitars), Nicky Bernardi (drums) and Pete Traux (keyboards) to the fold. The group toured relentlessly on major packages with the likes of Apocalyptica, Danzig, Trivium and Kataklysm, as well as high-profile shows with Lacuna Coil, Opeth, SYL and Moonspell, further helping them garner a loyal, rabid underground following.

The album stunned critics and fans alike. <title>Eyes of Fire: : Eyes of Fire to Embark on Headlining U.S. Tour</title>
<description>The dynamic Orange County-based quintet EYES OF FIRE will embark on a U.S. tour with Apocalyptica today in anticipation of *Prisons*, their eagerly awaited sophomore release. The trek will lead the two genre-defying artists cross-country over the course of only two weeks. The group just wrapped up a national U.S. tour alongside labelmates Manntis after completing highly successful runs supporting Danzig and Kataklysm earlier this year. A video for the track \\"It All Dies Today\\" will be shot early next month with acclaimed director Gary Smithson (Exodus, High On Fire); look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut early next year.

Dan Kaufman (guitars, vocals) checks in with the following report: \\"We just returned home about a week ago from a little stint across the U.S. with our labelmates and drinking buddies Manntis. The tour was quite fun, and we hope to do more shows with them in the future. There were plenty of days off for the entire band to get into trouble in one way or another. Now we\\'re off again to do another U.S. tour this time with Finnish cello metal gods Apocalyptica. This is a great opportunity for us to play in front of a different crowd and win over some new fans. We are direct support, which is a great honor for us. We hope to make plenty of new friends and see some old ones while we are out leaving a path of destruction in our wake. We plan on playing a few different sets on this tour to mix up our new material (off of Prisons) with our older material. Right now, we have three sets that we are playing, and it may grow as the tour progresses to keep us interested and keep you, the audience, guessing. So come on out to hear the new material live before the album hits the shelf early next year.

\\"Once we get back home we are hooking up with director Gary Smithson to shoot the first video off of *Prisons* for the track \\'It All Dies Today.\\' The treatment is amazing and very creative. There are a lot of different locations we are going to travel to in order to get the right feel and look for this video. If everything is completed in time, there is also talk of adding the video as bonus material for the Prisons album, which will also feature a bonus CD containing our 23-minute opus \\'Home\\' in the first 5,000 copies pressed. Then we want to head back out on the road again and play some more for y\\'all. It\\'s shaping up to be a busy time for us, and we are super excited for our future. Finally the rock and roll gods are smiling on us. Until next time, keep on listening.\\"

EYES OF FIRE\\'s debut offering, *Ashes To Embers*, lashed out with a barrage of intensity, leaving the listener victim to a sonic pummeling, while still walking a fine line between melody and brutality. The album stunned critics and fans alike and gave them a much-needed alternative to the current influx of metalcore. The group succeeds in areas where most bands today don\\'t even bother venturing: songwriting, hooks and emotion, drawing similarities to such cult icons as Anathema, Katatonia and Neurosis. The recent addition of guitarist Bobby Thomas and drummer Nicky Bernardi also added more versatility and aggression to the band\\'s sonic chaos, which is extremely evident in their recent live performances.
