The group will be performing at Red 7 Patio on March 14th and will follow this up with two high-profile shows on the Jagermeister Tour alongside Stone Sour, labelmates Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall. Joe Altier (vocals) further describes his excitement over the upcoming tour: â?oWe are extremely excited to hit the road with the legendary Type O Negative. We thank Pete Steele and the rest of the guys for asking us to be a part of their first tour in nearly three years. This friendship was born when Peter joined us in the studio last year to lend his vocals to the track â?~Reaper Man,â?T which we hope to perform live with him on a few dates this spring. We are also looking forward to having Celtic Frost on the bill. I know this lineup seems strange but in a world where most tours feature bands that all sound exactly the same, this diverse bill should be a treat for fans old and young. Our set on this tour will see some more of the songs featured on our new disc Tequila, alongside some classics. Come out and enjoy what is bound to be one hell of a tour. See you all soon.â??

<title>Brand New Sin: : BRAND NEW SIN Schedule SXSW Appearance; Added To Jagermeister Shows With Stone Sour</title>
<description>BRAND NEW SIN are set to perform at this yearâ?Ts South By Southwest in Austin, TX, which marks their second appearance at the most renowned U.S. musical festival. The group will be performing at Red 7 Patio on March 14th and will follow this up with two high profile shows on the Jagermeister Tour alongside Stone Sour, labelmates Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall. Be sure to check out the media section for the current tour itinerary.

BRAND NEW SIN just completed a highly successful UK tour alongside Soil, Godhead and Lennon, which also marked their first European run of their career. Joe Altier (vocals) further describes that amazing experience: â?oWell, we are back, we are safe and we are rested. I want to take a second and thank all the fans old and new in the UK for making that tour one of the most memorable of our career. The passion they showed for hard rock and heavy metal was unbelievable. We will be returning before the end of the year to do it once again, so stay tuned. I want to also thank Soil for giving us this opportunity as well as Bulletproof Promotions, Panic Cell and Dan Devita because without all of these people this tour wouldn't have been possible. To our new friends in Godhead and Lennon, thanks for putting up with our craziness and letting us indulge in yours as well. Cheers! Kevin (Dean, drums) posted blogs with his daily journals from the tour, so if you are interested, be sure to go to [www.myspace.com/brandnewsin](www.myspace.com/brandnewsin)

â?oWe are also very excited to see Headbangers Ball finally debut the â?~Motormethâ?T video. Hopefully they dig it and will keep spinning it. In case you missed it be sure to click the link below to check it out.

â?oMarch will see us playing the famous SXSW. The last time we played, we had a riot. SXSW is like Mardi Gras for music, and itâ?Ts a great way to expose your band to the masses. After that we will head north to play two shows on this spring installment of the Jagermeister tour (featuring Stone Sour, Lacuna Coil and Shadows Fall). We hope to see you all soon.â??

Decibel magazine praises Tequila as â?oaccessible, blue-collar, booze-tinged metal...there's a conviction in the music, a complete lack of pretension, that makes these five guys easy to like.â?? The disc also includes a bonus video enhancement of the band performing an acoustic version of Big Show theme "Crank It Up" live in the WWE studios. Tequila is a voracious hard rock assault laden with soaring, captivating melodies and crushing anthems that are sure to get anyoneâ?Ts blood flowing and fists pumping. The album will also further establish BNS as one of rockâ?Ts premiere tandems.

BRAND NEW SINâ?Ts Tequila will prove that authentic, meat-and-potatoes classic hard rock is chased with an undeniable raw fury that refuses to be denied.

<title>Brand New Sin: : BRAND NEW SIN Tour Report</title>
<description>BRAND NEW SIN are currently in the midst of the massive Jagermeister tour with Mushroomhead, Soil and The Autumn Offering, which runs through the end of next month. The group have been going over extremely well each night, developing a whole new legion of BNS fanatics. Their highly acclaimed new album, Tequila, is now available in stores, while a live video for the track "Motormeth" was recently shot in their hometown of Syracuse in front of over 2,000 rabid fans. Look for the clip to surface later this month.

Kevin Dean (drums) checks in with the following report from the road: "We are covering a lot of ground on this tour after starting in Chicago and going into a few Midwest cities (Topeka, Flint, Madison etc.) Then we headed west to Seattle and Portland before working our way down the West Coast for two weeks. We partied with members from Motorhead, Nocturne, Adema, Static-X and Audioslave. Things got a lot crazier from there as I got bitten by a scorpion in Arizona (I think) and ended up in the emergency room. Two band trailers got hit with graffiti, while The Autumn Offering\\'s van got stolen, only to turn up in the parking lot (moved by the Soil crew - awesome).

"What topped it all off was the singer of Mushroomhead calling us New Found Sin for some reason and finally the keyboardist whipped a bottle at him on stage and a fight broke out. The Autumn Offering\\'s van broke down a few days ago - they\\'re still on the West Coast - so hopefully they'll continue this tour. Seriously, you have to take care of yourself out here. It can get out of hand real fast! Temperature changes, mountains, deserts, oceans, booze, drugs, and crazy women (and men) are all around you, so it\\'s up to you to keep your head and be smart. Otherwise, rock on, and we hope to see you all soon."

Decibel magazine praises Tequila as "accessible, blue-collar, blooze-tinged metal...there\\'s a conviction in the music, a complete lack of pretension, that makes these five guys easy to like." The disc also includes a bonus video enhancement of the band performing an acoustic version of Big Show theme \\"Crank It Up\\" live in the WWE studios.

<title>Brand New Sin: : BRAND NEW SIN Cracks Open The Tequila; Tour Report</title>
<description>The highly anticipated BRAND NEW SIN album, Tequila, is now available in stores, with the group already more than a week into the Jagermeister tour with Mushroomhead, Soil and The Autumn Offering. To celebrate the album's release, the group delivered an amazing impromptu acoustic performance on Active Rock station KMKF's "The Morning Show," which airs on 101.5FM in Manhattan, Kansas. The group also recently shot a live video for the track "Motormeth" in their hometown of Syracuse in front of over 2,000 rabid fans; look for the clip to surface later this month.

Joe Altier (vocals) checks in with the following report from the road: "The tour so far has been great. Been to some places we have never been (Topeka, Fargo), and can definitely say it's been fun so far. The Mushroomhead and Soil camps are making us feel at home. We are all wondering if our livers will make it through Thanksgiving. All joking aside more dates have been added to the end of the tour, so please stay tuned, as we will be hitting a lot of East Coast dates in November.

"Our new album Tequila was dropped on the unsuspecting masses this past Tuesday, so make sure to go get it. Hell, buy a couple of copies and give them to friends. The response so far has been amazing. The 'Motormeth' video is almost complete and will be available shortly. Again, we thank everyone back home for making that one hell of a day. We've got some tours in the works that will carry us through the next year, so spread the word and we will see you all very soon."

We know you will enjoy it. It's a darker, more introspective and raw side of BNS, which is a statement we had to make.

"Last week we played our biggest hometown show ever (2000+ people) and possibly our longest set to date (about 17 songs). The weather was perfect, the crowd was loud and we shot one hell of a video. <title>Brand New Sin: : BRAND NEW SIN Join The Jagermeister Tour; Prepare For Video Shoot</title>
<description>New York quintet BRAND NEW SIN will hit the road with Mushroomhead, Soil and The Autumn Offering next month in support of their much-anticipated new album, Tequila, which is set for an October 3rd release. The Jagermeister-sponsored trek marks the band's first U.S. tour in almost a year's time, and the BNS crew couldn't be more ready to get back out there. Their new CD might be called Tequila, but BRAND NEW SIN will be doing shots of another liquor this fall, while bringing the rock to the masses.

Joe Altier (vocals) further describes his excitement over the upcoming tour: "We are excited to get back on the road. It has been nearly a year since we have done any extensive touring and with the release of the new CD coming, it will be fun to get out there and see the reactions to the new material. We also want to thank Mushroomhead for asking us to take part in this tour. Looking forward to spending time destroying cities with them and The Autumn Offering, but most all of we are so stoked to finally having a chance to play with our boys in Soil. In the meantime, we will be shooting a video for 'Motormeth' in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for details and other fun tidbits. Take care, and we will see you all very soon."

They've emerged with an album sure to stand the test of time. The disc, mastered by the acclaimed George Marino (Metallica, AC/DC, Guns N\\' Roses) at Sterling Sound, also features a guest vocal appearance by Peter Steele (Type O Negative) on the track "Reaper Man" and is the perfect representation of what this group is ultimately capable of creating.

The group also recently recorded a new version of the entrance theme music for Big Show, the 7-foot, 500-pound ECW wrestler. The theme, \\"Crank It Up,\\" was first heard on the compilation CD WWE: Wreckless Intent, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard charts.

Joe Altier (vocals) further describes what "Motormeth" is all about: "The inspiration behind 'Motormeth' was to create a song that hits you in the face and just keeps going. It's BRAND NEW SIN through and through. The song is based on the people in your life that push you to your absolute brink of anger and then reap what they sow. It fits perfectly on our new album, Tequila, which perfectly captures our raw energy. Hopefully, everyone finds the new tunes as 'intoxicating' as we do. We feel that a lot of bands nowadays make things sound too polished, and we have been told for years that our albums are good but our live shows are much better, so that\\'s what we went for. See ya soon."

<title>Brand New Sin: : BRAND NEW SIN Plays Unplugged On WWE.COM</title>
<description>Acoustic performance of "WWE®: Wreckless Intent" track by Brand New Sin
first-ever live music stream on WWE.com

Yesterday, WWE.com - the official website of World Wrestling Entertainment, and one of the Internet's most popular destinations for young males - posted its first-ever exclusive live music stream, an acoustic performance by the New York-based rock band Brand New Sin. The group recently joined WWE music director Jim Johnston at WWE's music studios in Stamford, Conn., to record an unplugged rendition of "Crank It Up," their interpretation of the entrance theme music for the 7-foot, 500-pound WWE ECW Superstar Big Show®. The original version appears on the new Columbia Records release WWE: Wreckless Intent, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top 200.

WWE: Wreckless Intent is the latest in a long line of successful fusions of pop music and sports entertainment. From the original "Rock n' Wrestling Connection" two decades ago to the appearances of rock group P.O.D. and Destiny's Child vocalist Michelle Williams at WrestleMania® 22 this spring, WWE has effectively used music to further its storylines, and Brand New Sin's acoustic performance is a perfect example of why the recently formed WWE Music Group was formed to link the WWE brand with popular music across all media platforms, including film, television, radio, the Internet, ring tones, video games, and emerging digital technologies.

"This is clearly another example of the great symbiotic relationship between WWE and the music industry, and we welcome the opportunity to create new avenues of expression for a wide variety of artists on all available WWE platforms," says Neil Lawi, General Manager of the WWE Music Group. "Brand New Sin is kicking off yet another addition to the WWE.com family, which helps create awareness and visibility to millions of fans around the world."

Brand New Sin vocalist Joe Altier says the acoustic performance of "Crank It Up" - available as a streaming video download for $1.99 - was challenging, in that the band, which normally specializes in meat-and-potatoes heavy rock, had to rearrange the song's bridge and alter its tuning to make the unplugged version work. And while he feels the original electric version captures the emotional intensity of the lumbering strut and overpowering presence of Big Show's character, he thinks the acoustic rendition also possesses the energy the song requires. "When I sing 'Hold you up above me and plant you in the ground,' you can see Big Show getting ready to choke-slam someone," he says.

WWE.com - overseen by WWE's Executive Vice President of Global Media, Shane McMahon - is seen by 15 million unique visitors a month, and provides 55 million streaming video downloads and nearly 450 million page views each month.

Since forming in 2002, Brand New Sin has released two acclaimed albums - a self-titled debut that was recently reissued, and 2005's Recipe For Disaster - and toured with such legends of hard rock and heavy metal as Motorhead, Slayer and Zakk Wylde. Their new album, Tequila, will be released Oct. 3.
