Manntis: : MANNTIS Prepare For Massive U.S. Tour; New Video Posted Online

The explosive Southern California quintet MANNTIS are currently preparing for a massive U.S. tour as direct support to Dope that kicks off on June 14th and runs through August 7th. The trek also features Bleed The Sky (who MANNTIS will swap the direct support slot with every other night) and A New Revolution. The group have just completed a flurry of spring touring activity, which had them playing shows with everyone from the legendary Motorhead to Soulfly, among a slew of others. MANNTIS also completed a new video for the track "Weathered Soul" with up-and-coming director Robert Hall (Josh Todd, feature film Lightening Bug). The clip is now in heavy rotation on MTV2's Headbangers Ball, and you can also click the link below to check it out.

Jake Sirokman (vocals) checks in with the following report: "We're currently in the UK, kicking ass on the European version of Sounds of the Underground, but can't wait to get back to the U.S. with Dope, Bleed the Sky and A New Revolution. Our sound is stronger than ever with the addition of our new drummer Andre. We also have a new video on Headbangers Ball for the track "Weathered Soul," which was directed by Robert Hall. That guy is extremely creative and talented and put together an amazing video that fits well with the song. We tried to do something a little more old school this time, which was really cool because it reminds us of the metal videos we watched when we were growing up. We couldn't be happier with the way it turned out."

The group's critically acclaimed new album, *Sleep In Your Grave*, produced by Cameron Webb (Danzig, Motorhead, Social Distortion), is now available and goes straight for the jugular with its scorching guitar work and pummeling rhythmic assault. Second, we are very excited about this upcoming tour (International Extreme Music Festival). Also, just to play The Metro in Chicago is a huge step in our career, and we are thankful for the opportunity and look forward to tearin\\' up the stage. Speaking of tours, we had a great time with the Eyes of Fire boys on our last trip, and we hope to hit the road with them again in the future.
Manntis: : Manntis Completes U.S. Tour

The explosive Southern California quintet MANNTIS recently completed a nationwide U.S. tour with Otep in support of Sleep In Your Grave, their critically acclaimed debut album. The group's new offering, produced by Cameron Webb (Danzig, Motorhead, Social Distortion), is now available and goes straight for the jugular with its scorching guitar work and pummeling rhythmic assault. Their staggering blend of hardcore and metal is delivered with authority and conviction, proving to the genre's elite that they will soon be a force to be reckoned with.

Jake Sirokman (vocals) checks in with his thoughts on the release of their debut album: 'I just wanted to say we are stoked about our debut album, Sleep In Your Grave, finally being available to the masses. We would like to thank Century Media for all that they have done for us; we are very excited to be with such a great label. We look forward to a long and hard year of touring our asses off, and we will not let anyone down. Also, look for our new video for 'Axe of Redemption' to make its debut on Metal Asylum and Headbangers Ball in late July. Well, that's about it, see you all on the road and make sure to pick up the new album.'

MANNTIS initially gained worldwide exposure via the hit MTV show 'Battle For Ozzfest' and the recent 'Battle For Ozzfest' U.S. tour. Their influences come from a diverse number of bands, ranging from Meshuggah and Pantera to Killswitch Engage and Zao, to name just a few, and their dynamic sound reflects the combination of these influences. Make no mistake, this is a band that is not content with being television personalities, as their only goal in life is to deliver the music they love to a willing audience. In the process, their determination and talent will quickly help them develop a devoted legion of rabid fans.

'A fast blast of solid metalcore that has a lot of fight in it.'
--Blabbermouth

'MANNTIS will please metal fans to no end.'
--Flex Your Head

'MANNTIS tightens metal's loose screws and churns out a scorcher of an album.'
--Metal Review

'Proficent musicianship, jam packed with breakdowns, throaty bellows and shrill guitar-driven build-ups.'
--The PRP
