WINDS OF PLAGUE Parts Ways with Drummer; Working on New Album; To Head Out on The All Stars Tour WINDS OF PLAGUE has officially parted ways with drummer Art Cruz due to creative differences and wish him all the very best in his future endeavors. "After many years of having Art Cruz with us we have decided its best for both parties involved to go our separate ways," states vocalist Johnny Plague. "Art is a great drummer and I'm sure he will be back behind the drums one way or another soon." Art Cruz adds, "I'm very thankful for the experience. I love those dudes. Without missing a beat, WINDS OF PLAGUE is currently holed up in the studio working on the much anticipated follow-up to their critically acclaimed album Against The World. "We just finished recording our new album in which we recruited long time friend Brandon Gallindo to record as well as fill in for The All Stars Tour starting this week! See you soon!!!" WINDS OF PLAGUE RELEASES HALLOWEEN VIDEO In honor of Halloween, WINDS OF PLAGUE has released a video showcasing Johnny Plague's transformation from WOP frontman to ghoul for Knott Scary Farms. Keeping the Halloween spirit, WINDS OF PLAGUE will be performing TONIGHT at The Wiltern in Los Angeles alongside ASKING ALEXANDRIA, WE CAME AS ROMANS and a number of other guests. The ULTIMATE WARRIOR will also be in full costume, performing a song with the band. This November, WINDS OF PLAGUE starts their headlining "Thrash and Burn" Tour. WINDS OF PLAGUE PREMIERES NEW MUSIC VIDEO WINDS OF PLAGUE has just premiered their new music video for "Refined In The Fire". Directed by Jeremy Schott of MentalSuplex, the video keeps in the Halloween vein with blood covered band members and zombies. "Being a big fan of both horror films and Halloween we wanted to do a video to tie into both." Says vocalist Johnny Plague. "We created a video set in a post apocalyptic era... Not too long into the video you realize the cause of the end of society as we know it, ZOMBIES! I play the role of zombie slaying bad mother fucker roaming the dessert looking for salvation. Instead i find a shack infested with all sorts of evil. To capture this horror based music video i recruited my people at Knotts Scary farm. Designer Brooke Walters as well as a legion of monsters. Happy Halloween followers of Plague, stay bloody!" The music video for "Refined In The Fire" can be seen here. WINDS OF PLAGUE RELEASE JAPAN TOUR VIDEO SERIES WINDS OF PLAGUE recently trekked overseas to headline the annual BloodAxe Fest in Tokyo, Japan. They are now releasing the Japan Tour Series , a three part video series recapping their experiences exploring and playing in Japan. "By far the biggest perk of being in a band is traveling the world." Says vocalist Johnny Plague. "Last month we had the privilege of returning to Japan to headline the annual BloodAxe fest in Tokyo.
