Warbringer: : announces South American dates; new lineup featuring MANTIC RITUAL's Ben Mottsman and Jeff Potts confirmed

This year WARBRINGER has been working on new material but will take a break this weekend for their first trip to South America. "It's a tremendous feeling to have heavy metal fans in South America continuously ask us to perform in their home countries, let alone have promoters willing to invest in us to finally make this happen," states drummer Carlos Cruz. "This 3-day weekend of performances will hopefully open the door to more opportunities for WARBRINGER to perform in many more countries there for the demanding fans. It's fact that South America upholds a die-hard heavy metal fanbase, and we'll be sure to NOT disappoint!" Here's a quick video commercial for the shows: The lineup for these shows will be the same lineup that has been touring together since last summer, which included 6 weeks of European dates and 10 headlining shows in Australia. Despite sharing the road for almost a year, the group never made an official announcement about guitarist Jeff Potts and bassist Ben Mottsman (both formerly of MANTIC RITUAL) joining the hard-working band-- until now. Thrash stalwarts WARBRINGER have announced four shows over Memorial Day weekend to commemorate the 5th year anniversary of their debut album, War Without End-- and as a special bonus for Los Angeles and San Francisco fans, the band will also perform the album in its entirety at these show! WARBRINGER GUITARIST ADAM CARROLL DEPARTS THE BAND, ANDREW BENNETT STEPS IN As WARBRINGER begins their North American tour supporting ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X this week, it has been revealed that longtime guitarist Adam Carroll has decided to leave the band and last weekend's shows supporting DEATH ANGEL were his last. "To all fans and friends, I, Adam Carroll, have officially quit WARBRINGER. I have financial issues at home that have to be addressed sooner than later. I hope you all can understand and respect my decision. It's been some of the best years of my life and I appreciate all the support you the fans have given us and continue to give. I will forever be part of the WARBRINGER family. Many thanks and until I see the rest of you again, keep the metal alive. Cheers!" The band enlisted friend and talented, young guitarist Andrew Bennett for the purpose of filling in live for this tour with the hope that he may become a permanent member of the group as he continues his audition process where it matters most-- on the stage and in the van. Comments Andrew Bennett, "Last month I received a message from the guys, which basically stated that Adam was requesting to step out. As a result, they were searching for a possible replacement who could learn the material in time for the upcoming ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X tour. I jumped at the opportunity and started learning some tracks. Around the beginning of this month I went down and jammed with the guys and the rest is history. I am eternally grateful to my friends in WARBRINGER for giving me the opportunity to play with them and I am very excited about what the future may hold.
