Warrel Dane: : To Perform Inaugural Solo Band Headlining Set On Dec. 19th; Covers Material Encompassing His Entire Career Catalog

As the world eagerly awaits the next groundbreaking Nevermore album, The Obsidian Conspiracy (Spring 2010), vocalist WARREL DANE triumphantly returns with a massive undertaking as he performs the first solo show of his illustrious career. This show will encompass material spanning one of metal's most defining and revolutionary vocalist's entire catalogue focusing on his highly anticipated inaugural solo effort, Praises To The War Machine, but will also see him perform a few select Sanctuary tracks for the first time in over a decade. Fans of Nevermore need not worry as some deeper cuts will also see the light for the first time in years.

This monumental event takes place on Saturday, December 19th at Studio Seven in Seattle. This is an All Ages show (Bar with ID) and tickets are $11 in advance and $14 day of show. Head over to www.ticketswest.com to purchase now as this event will definitely sell out.

Matt Wicklund (God Forbid guitarist) states: "On Saturday, December 19th at Studio Seven in Seattle I will be playing the debut show for the WARREL DANE band. I am very excited and honored to be a part of this and to be working with one of my favorite vocalists and long time friends. Willis Mathiasen (drums), Dagna Barrera (bass) and Jonny Smokes (guitar) are all doing a wonderful job and everything is really sounding amazing! We will be playing all of the songs from the record Praises To The War Machine, as well as a couple of old Sanctuary hits and maybe a few other surprises. I encourage everyone that can to come out and rock with us! I'd like to thank Tracy Moody and Nicole Russel at Studio Seven for helping to bring us all together so this can happen. After this event I will be heading back home to New Jersey to continue working on new material with my brothers in God Forbid. We have been coming up with some great tunes and I am really excited to continue working on it!"

Dane, who first shattered the boundaries of conventionality with the legendary Sanctuary and Nevermore, proves that he is one of metal's most diverse frontmen with his first solo effort, Praises To The War Machine, as he unleashes a barrage of introspective and personal lyrics that are heartfelt and extremely powerful. All of this emotion backed with his soaring angelic and dynamic vocals provides all of the necessary elements for a savagely captivating, melodic assault that quickly hooks you in. This exhilarating new offering begins a new chapter for Dane and will soon further solidify his spot as one of the genre's most influential artists

Warrel Dane: : WARREL DANE Posts Video For \\"Brother\\" Online

WARREL DANE recently took part in a video shoot for the song "Brother" from his solo-debut, Praises to the War Machine. The stunning piece was filmed by Max Gutierrez and also features home videos from Dane's childhood. You can view the video for "Brother" at this location: http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=41594676.

Dane comments on the video, \\"I\\'m very happy with the end result, working with Max Guiterrez was a great experience; he really translated the lyrics into a beautiful piece of cinematic art. The day of the shoot I was confronting issues I had been holding inside for years, you can see this in my face. All the home movie footage is authentic, raw and very real. This is a glimpse into my life that I never though I would share.\\"

The Nevermore frontman released his solo album earlier this year to an overwhelming response. Praises to the War Machine is a dark, very personal journey through the life and mind of WARREL DANE. On the making of the album, he comments:

"It\\'s been a crazy ride since the idea for this record first came about in the back of a tour bus two years ago, as I was bored out of my skull and wanting new music to work on. It\\'s been nothing but a great experience working with Peter Wichers (ex-Soilwork), Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork) and Matt Wicklund (ex-Himsa) and I must say I feel pretty lucky to have worked with great musicians throughout my career dating all the way back to Sanctuary, and of course Nevermore. I feel fortunate that this record has been so well received and look forward to playing these tunes in a live situation. I hope to see you all soon."
