Warbringer: : announces South American dates; new lineup featuring MANTIC RITUAL's Ben Mottsman and Jeff Potts confirmed

This year WARBRINGER has been working on new material but will take a break this weekend for their first trip to South America. "It's a tremendous feeling to have heavy metal fans in South America continuously ask us to perform in their home countries, let alone have promoters willing to invest in us to finally make this happen," states drummer Carlos Cruz. "This 3-day weekend of performances will hopefully open the door to more opportunities for WARBRINGER to perform in many more countries there for the demanding fans. It's fact that South America upholds a die-hard heavy metal fanbase, and we'll be sure to NOT disappoint!" Despite sharing the road for almost a year, the group never made an official announcement about guitarist Jeff Potts and bassist Ben Mottsman (both formerly of MANTIC RITUAL) joining the hard-working band-until now. US-Thrash Metallers WARBRINGER recently wrapped up their massive European summer tour, which covered a total of 17 countries and saw the band successfully perform at prestigious festival events like Roskilde (Denmark), Getaway Rock (Sweden), Bang Your Head! (Germany), Wacken (Germany), Metalcamp (Slovenia), Brutal Assault (Czech Republic), Party.San (Germany) and many others. US-Thrash Metallers WARBRINGER are currently on the road promoting their acclaimed latest album release, "Worlds Torn Asunder" , all across North America together with Destruction and Vital Remains until June 3rd. In the meantime, the band has been adding further shows to their impressive Summer 2012 European live-schedule between July 5th and August 12th: The trip will see the band perform at high-profile festivals like Getaway Rock (Sweden), Roskilde (Denmark), Devilstone (Lithuania), Metalcamp (Slovenia), Brutal Assault or also Bang Your Head, Wacken, Party.San (all in Germany), among many other places. On the way out to a massive North America touring run of 7 (!) weeks with dates from January 31st till March 17th supporting Metal titans Iced Earth and Symphony X, US-Thrash Metallers WARBRINGER have announced a line-up change: Longtime guitarist Adam Carroll has decided to leave the band after a final weekend of shows supporting DEATH ANGEL and he is replaced by Andrew Bennett.
Carroll checked in to comment as follows: "To all fans and friends, I, Adam Carroll, have officially quit WARBRINGER. I have financial issues at home that have to be addressed sooner than later. I hope you all can understand and respect my decision. It's been some of the best years of my life and I appreciate all the support you the fans have given us and continue to give. I will forever be part of the WARBRINGER family. Many thanks and until I see the rest of you again, keep the metal alive. Cheers!"
WARBRINGER have now enlisted friend and talented, young guitarist Andrew Bennett for the purpose of filling in live for this current tour with the hope that he may become a permanent member of the group as he continues his audition process where it matters most-- on the stage and in the van.
Comments Andrew Bennett, "Last month I received a message from the guys, which basically stated that Adam was requesting to step out. As a result, they were searching for a possible replacement who could learn the material in time for the upcoming ICED EARTH and SYMPHONY X tour. I jumped at the opportunity and started learning some tracks. Around the beginning of this month I went down and jammed with the guys and the rest is history. I am eternally grateful to my friends in WARBRINGER for giving me the opportunity to play with them and I am very excited about what the future may hold. But, one thing that I would like to make clear is that I don't view myself as Adam's replacement, as much as I view myself as filling the position instead of him. Adam's work with the band and time with them is not something that can be erased and I would just like to make it clear that I respect him greatly. He has left big shoes to fill and I have a lot of work ahead of me if I am going to honor his legacy with the band. I'm looking forward to interacting with, and playing for the fans on the road! It's time to shred!"
