Duff McKagan's Loaded: : touring Europe with Mötley Crüe; festival shows confirmed!

Right in time for the release of the "Sick" album, Duff McKagan's LOADED are confirmed for several European summer festivals and shows as support of Mötley Crüe. Both bands met last October when LOADED was playing two shows in Japan - the Loud Park 08 festival with Mötley Crüe, and an intimate headlining show the next night at club Quattro in Tokyo.

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx:

<i>"We had a bad-ass show in Tokyo [Loud Park Festival] and there were a ton of cool bands on the bill, but most notably was Duff McKagan's LOADED. [Next day], we headed down to a place here in Tokyo and saw Duff play a tiny club... insane. Every song was a 10. I got an EP and it's all I'm listening to right now. If you don't have the EP yet, it's called 'Wasted Heart' and it's a must-have."</i>

Commented McKagan:

<i>"Nikki Sixx came down to the Quattro show. I've known that guy now for over 20 years and that dude is the real article. Let me tell ya, sometimes the last thing you want to do on a night off on a tour is go out to see another fucking band! Nikki not only came down, but he also stayed for the whole show. A class act."</i>

So don't miss the chance to see legendary former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan's new band LOADED as well as his legendary buddies Mötley Crüe the same night.

Duff McKagan's Loaded: : sign worldwide deal with Century Media; post new song @ MySpace; European headliner tour in September & more!

The hard rock world is about to get a nice, swift kick in the ass as the Seattle-based sonic force Duff McKagan's LOADED, led by the current VELVET REVOLVER bassist, has returned after a lengthy hiatus with their much anticipated, new full-length release. The quartet has signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records and a five song EP, "Wasted Heart", will be issued in September in conjunction with their upcoming European headlining tour. This run also marks the band's first trip to the UK. The new offering was recorded by Martin Feveyear (Presidents of the USA, Kings of Leon) and is set for an early 2009 release.

McKagan further comments: "We are truly looking forward to this partnership with Century Media. I am encouraged that they indeed understand the spirit and integrity of DUFF MCKAGAN'S LOADED. This first EP should shed some light on who we are, what we do and how the fuck we do it!"

McKagan, having carved out a place in rock 'n roll history selling millions of albums with the legendary Guns N' Roses, requires no lengthy introduction. However, with Duff McKagan's LOADED he gets a chance to further show his songwriting prowess and versatility assuming the role of vocalist/guitarist. This is an all out assault of pure rock and punk infused fury that pulls no punches.
