The re-release version via Century Media Records will gather both albums onto a 2CD package to be entitled "Evil Unleashed / Give 'Em War" and will also see the songs become available digitally for the very first time worldwide. The creative team involved with this special re-release is staying the same as on the band's last two albums, "Clockwork" (2010) and "The Call" (2012): Daniel Cardoso has been handling re-mastering duties for the material and Gustavo Sazes / Abstrata (Arch Enemy, Firewind, Dream Evil, etc.) is responsible for revamping the artwork. The entertaining clip can be seen online here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZcpiT1A1rY ANGELUS APATRIDA had previously checked in to comment about the new album's opening song "You Are Next" and the material on "The Call" as follows: "We think that 'The Call' is a record that represents the wide variety of styles and elements in our music extremely well; every song stands alone strong and unique in its own way, making the album a whole piece that needs to be heard completely to get the full idea of the sound of the band. But, if we had to choose one song to represent the whole thing, it would be 'You Are Next' because, both lyrical and musically, it showcases the anger and fury we wanted to put into this album, and also reflects the step forward we feel we have made technically. It's a song that starts slowly and trying to capture the listener before exploding into a furious sonic assault." Spanish Thrash Metallers ANGELUS APATRIDA never rest! Only two days after the last show of their extensive 'Clockwork Tour', the band entered Ultrasound Studios in Moita, Portugal, together with producer Daniel Cardoso (Anathema, Anneke Van Giersbergen, etc) and sound engineer Hugo Andrade, with whom they already previously worked for their much lauded "Clockwork" album, which marked the band's first release on Century Media Records.
This new album will be released sometime before the summer of 2012 and still doesn't have a title, but some details started surfacing already: ANGELUS APATRIDA are recording 10 new tracks and 2 additional songs for bonus use. Some of the songtitles are "It's Rising!", "You Are Next", "Blood On The Snow", "Violent Dawn" and "Still Corrupt". They will also record a special cover track and the artwork for the album will again be done by Brazilian artist Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Firewind, The Crown, etc.), who's currently finishing the last details.
Guillermo Izquierdo (guitars and vocals) stated about the new songs as follows: "We are working on an album that's gonna be, without any shade of doubt, our most mature material. This time we have been able to do a pre-production of the whole record with Daniel Cardoso and it turned out to add a fresher taste in both the music and vocal melodies."
ANGELUS APATRIDA recently escaped from studio's routine on the night of Dec 9th to play a gig in Moita's Live Caff� that also helped testing the new material on-stage. Highlights of the recently finished 'Clockwork Tour' include several runs of headlining shows in Spain, national support for Slayer and Megadeth as well as two European tours with Skeletonwitch / Warbringer and then the "Bonecrusher Tour 2011" with Dying Fetus, Keep Of Kalessin, Carnifex and many others.
