<title>Firewind: Unveil Days of Defiance Album Cover Art and Track Listing; Announce iTunes Exclusive Track</title>
<description>FIREWIND Unveil Days of Defiance Album Cover Art and Track Listing; Announce iTunes Exclusive Track

The Greek melodic metal phenomenon FIREWIND, led by the young guitar sensation Gus G. has returned with the scathing new studio album effort Days of Defiance, which is easily their defining musical moment. The much anticipated disc is set for an October 25th release in Europe, as well as an October 26th release in North America. Days of Defiance is a truly ambitious and dynamic opus featuring some of the most brilliant guitar playing the genre has seen in many years.

The striking cover artwork was designed by the band's longtime partner in all design matters, Gustavo Sazes / www.abstrata.net and can now be viewed at www.myspace.com/firewind.

A special iTunes edition for Days of Defiance will feature the exclusive new track, "Riding On The Wind."
FIREWIND's guitarist and songwriter Gus G., currently on tour with Ozzy Osbourne in Europe, checks in with the following comment about the album and its artwork: "I'm very excited and cannot wait for our fans to listen to our new album! We feel we've captured great performances and took our songwriting to the next level on this one. There's tons of cool guitar on there and I believe Bob has finally managed to reach warp-speed with his keyboard solos! Even more seriously, I highly recommend that you listen to this album at a very loud volume.

"As for the artwork, it was once again done by our visual wizard and webmaster extraordinaire, Gustavo Sazes. This time we asked Gustavo to come up with a great landscape scenery, with a more traditional approach and even get the "pencil" style of artwork on there, but also combine it with more modern stuff. So, he gave us that.with a slight futuristic, sci-fi element and I think the end result is stunning!"

2. World On Fire

Sean Z. (vocals) states: "This song is about reinventing yourself, like we've done with our sound. Destruction and manipulation allow poisons to seep in easily. Listen to it once, clear your head and listen again."

"This album will definitely be the most real thing this band has put out to date. It's on a level everyone can relate to. The lyrics have taken a brand new direction and the music compliments the insanity creating a fucking masterpiece of a way different kind."

Metal Mark from Skulls 'N' Bones recently spent some time in the studio with the band and compiled a video series documenting the recording process, so click on the link below now to check out the fifth installment featuring the synth tracking sessions.

<title>Insidious Disease: Partner Up With MetalSucks To Debut "Boundless" Video</title>
<description>INSIDIOUS DISEASE Partner Up With MetalSucks To Debut Boundless Video

INSIDIOUS DISEASE has partnered up with MetalSucks to exclusively present the worldwide debut of their new Boundless video. Click on the link below now to check out this truly disturbing clip.
&lt;a href="http://www.metalsucks.net/2010/09/01/exclusive-video-premiere-insidious-diseases-boundless/"&gt; http://www.metalsucks.net/2010/09/01/exclusive-video-premiere-insidious-diseases-boundless/ &lt;/a&gt;

Marc Grewe (vocals) states: "This video features the guy from our Shadowcast album cover. His name is Roar Hoch-Nielsen. The story behind it is obvious. Roar has the role of a loving father and husband with this kind of funny hobby. He likes to read riffle magazines and after the family went to bed he is starting his obscure work.

"My part in the video is being the 'electric eye' filming his work. We think that something like this happens; we had a case in Austria, where this guy tortured his own daughter for over 25 years. He made everyone believe that he was a loving and caring father, but that clearly wasn't the case. Something like this could happen right now. Maybe itīs your neighbor who seems to be the nicest person around, but behind closed doors the dark abyss of abnormality is the total reality.

"The plan for INSIDIOUS DISEASE is to hopefully go out on tour at the beginning of next year and of course it would be great to do some famous festivals. Hope that we will catch up with some of you sick motherfuckers soon. Until then enjoy our homage to Hitchcock and Texas Chainsaw Massacre done in our own morbid style!"

Extreme metal legends have united as INSIDIOUS DISEASE unleash the most violent death metal album to come along in years. The evil breed consisting of Dimmu Borgir's main songwriter Silenoz, bassist Shane Embury (Napalm Death), guitarist Jardar (Old Man's Child), drummer Tony Laureano (Angelcorpse, Nile) and vocalist Marc Grewe (from German death metal legends Morgoth) just released their debut album Shadowcast. Emil Werstler (guitars) states: "I've been listening to the final master of this record for a couple of days now. It is hard to believe that the task has been in process since March. In retrospect, I will say that more sacrifice was put into this record than anything I've ever been involved in. Thecontent is EXTREMELY dark, distraught, and completely honest. The timing is appropriate as well considering how lacking music has been in the creative department for the last year or two. I'm not hinting that we are going to become some pop culture phenomenon. We have no interest in that. As long as someone completely hates it, loves it or is moved in anyway be it positive or negative, our job is done. We have no interest in middle ground. You would have to be deaf to not hear that."

Sean Z. (vocals) further states: "This album will definitely be the most real thing this band has put out to date. It's on a level everyone can relate to. The lyrics have taken a brand new direction and the music compliments the insanity creating a fucking masterpiece of a way different kind."

<title>Architects (UK): To Make Much Anticipated Return To North America With Atreyu This Fall</title>
<description>ARCHITECTS UK To Make Much Anticipated Return To North America With Atreyu This Fall

Since their formation in late 2004, Brighton, England quintet ARCHITECTS UK have been on a continual ascendancy from the depths of the UK's metal and hardcore underground to leaders of the scene. The band make a huge splash in North America this past summer as part of the highly successful "Cool Tour," which featured As I Lay Dying, Underoath and Between the Buried and Me. The group immediately followed that tour up with a lengthy Canadian co-headlining run with The Holly Springs Disaster, which was also a huge success.

The group will capitalize on this momentum this fall as they make their much anticipated return to the U.S. alongside Atreyu, Bless The Fall, Chiodos and Endless Hallway. This massive, must see touring package kicks off on Oct. 20th and runs through November 27th, so be sure to visit www.myspace.com/architectsuk or see below to view their complete touring itinerary.

ARCHITECTS UK recently wrapped up the recording process for their new effort with renowned producer Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan) and look for that to be released early next year. In the meantime, a special reissue of the group's past two albums, Ruin and Hollow Crown, are going to be made available together on one low priced disc for their upcoming tour, so be sure to pick it up while they are available as these are sure to go fast.

Hugely ambitious, hard working and at the top of their game, the year ahead will surely see ARCHITECTS UK making waves the world over.
